Electronic Clinical Document Firm Recognized for Fun Work Environment and Charitable Donations

September 21, 2009 –Salar, Inc., an electronic clinical document solutions provider, announced today that it has been honored by the Baltimore Business Journal as one of Baltimore’s “Best Places to Work.” The company ranked first among all local “micro businesses” (fewer than 25 employees) on the publication’s annual list of winners, based on surveys completed by employees. As a winner, Salar was honored Thursday at a luncheon at the Baltimore Marriott Hunt Valley Inn and featured in the September 18 edition of the Baltimore Business Journal.
The theme of this year’s “Best Places to Work” contest was “Riding out the Recession” and recognized companies that have managed to maintain success and employee morale despite the difficult economic climate. Even with the downtown of the economy, Salar managed to grow in both revenue and staff size in 2009 and plans to continue this growth in 2010 as the federal government pushes for the adoption of electronic medical records. Salar’s solutions were recently implemented at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and the company is currently accepting applications for software engineering and customer service positions.
