<p><strong>The Challenge:</strong></p>
<p>In March 2008, The George Washington University Hospital agreed to implement TeamNotes, Salar’s electronic clinical documentation solution, to enable clinicians in the internal medicine department to record all of their patient notes electronically.</p>
<p><strong>Implementation</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>September 15, 2008 set as launch date</li>
<li>Salar provided guidelines to build implementation project plan and teams</li>
<li>Salar worked closely with hospital physicians to build a solution customized to their specific needs</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Results:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>TeamNotes was launched successfully and on schedule</li>
<li>Hospital generating more than 7,000 patient notes monthly</li>
<li>Physicians find the solution easy to use and required limited training</li>
<li>Hospital is planning future rollouts of TeamNotes in additional departments</li>
