Web Developer / Customer Support Engineer
Summary
Salar is seeking a full-time Web Developer / Customer Support Engineer. Candidates will be responsible for new development in an enterprise level web application and fielding customer support requests regarding production implements of that application. Primary responsibilities include PHP programming, SQL database design and T-SQL programming, responding to customer support requests, and troubleshooting web applications and production databases.
Responsibilities
- Create enterprise level web applications based on client input and designer specifications
- PHP programming, implementation, and back-end development
- SQL database design and T-SQL programming
- Respond to support requests from customers via telephone and email
- Troubleshoot web applications and production databases to resolve support requests
- Carry pager and/or cell phone for after-hours technical support
- Improve product knowledge-base
Skills
- 3+ years Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL experience
- 3+ years Web Development and Web Application experience
- Knowledge of PHP development is a plus
- Knowledge of Javascript is a plus
- Windows Server and Apache Server administration is a plus
