Marketing Specialist
Summary
Under indirect supervision, create and implement multi-faceted marketing campaigns to increase Salar’s brand awareness and national media exposure. A successful candidate will utilize social media, collateral, industry events, and more to distribute Salar’s message to key players in the healthcare IT sector.
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop marketing strategies to identify target markets, develop outreach campaigns, and measure the effectiveness of all programs
- Ensure consistent brand messaging
- Create and distribute press releases and case studies
- Utilize social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, etc.) and develop blog entries to position Salar as a leader in physician documentation
- Monitor and respond to industry-specific listservs and blogs
- Work collaboratively with the sales team
- Coordinate Salar’s presence at industry trade shows, including logistics and speaking opportunities when available
- Serve as primary copywriter/copy editor for marketing collateral and sales support material
- Manage online marketing software, including template generation, messaging and delivery. Coordinate the efforts to reduce bounce-backs and increase open rates
- Manage marketing areas of Web site and online marketing strategies
- Develop and maintain email and media distribution lists
- Manage marketing budget
Applicant Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
- 2-4 years experience in the marketing field, preferably in the healthcare sector
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Creative skills
- Relationship management skills
- Web knowledge including use of a CRM tool and basic HTML proficiency
